Helibike.com Ltd is owned by Discovery Tours, based in the stunning scenery of the Southern Alps near Aoraki Mount Cook, the centre of the South Island. With some of the highest and longest helibike rides in New Zealand, combined with argueably the best views, we pride ourselves on providing a memorable experience.
As we are one of the few Qualmark Visitor Endorsed helibiking operations, you can be assured that we take all practical consideration when it comes to your safety and the quality of your experience.
In Twizel, we use The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved helicopter bike racks which are specially designed to protect your bike from damage. All our helibike trips have a maximum guide to rider ratio of 1 guide for every 5 riders so you get to enjoy our trip at your own pace, be that fast or slow. Bike equipment and new, GT Sanction full suspension freeride mountain bikes are available, if required.
