COROMANDEL HELICOPTERS
In association with ‘Adventure Descents’, Coromandel Helicopters offer a fly in/bike out mountain bike package starting from the Coroglen Tavern on SH 25, Whitianga. Whipping you up to the Pinnacles ridge at the head of the Rangihau valley, you start your 2000 vertical feet descent down though bush, scrub, farmland through river crossings with awesome swimming holes, back to Coroglen.
General Information
Experienced riders will complete the downhill in a little over an hour with others closer to 2 hours. Bring your own bike
or they supply them, with safety gear, for $70 per person.
If you required a guide add $500 without bike hire; discounted to $260 for your guide with a bike
hire package.
